Bynum School’s 5th Annual Helen L. Greathouse Children’s Festival held on February 21, 2009 was the most successful ever! We want to extend a special thank you to XTO Energy for Underwriting the event. The employees of this company all have a special heart for Bynum and go above and beyond for our little school. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!
Greg and Steve were great children’s entertainers and had the kids dancing and singing on stage and at their seats. There were many adults joining the fun also. Neal Kassanoff and the Groundworks Music Project were also a hit as they are every year!
The activities area had lines all day giving the children an opportunity to make things like crowns, swords, decorated tiles, wands, jelly bean frames, gingerbread trains, pinwheels and Sandy Candy. The little ones really enjoyed playing in the special Tot Spot created just for them. The clowns were busy facepainting all day and the balloon guy made some interesting animals.
Again, thanks to all who had a part in making this event our most successful fundraiser ever! We cannot wait until next year!
