How to Help There are many ways to show your support for Bynum School and its students.

GoodSearch

An easy way to help Bynum School is to use a new Yahoo!-powered search engine called GoodSearch.com. Each time you use this search engine we will receive one cent. When you go to GoodSearch.com, simply enter "Bynum School, Midland, Texas" as the charity of choice.

The more people who use this site, the more money our school will receive. So please spread the word to your friends and family.

Children's Festival

Have you ever done the Woo Woo Dance, blown steam bubbles, sang a song about Bone Soup, made a tube of Sandy Candy, or been a human bowling ball? Many children and adults had that opportunity at the 4th Annual Helen Greathouse Children's Festival. Eddie Coker was our headliner and entertained us all with his energetic performance! Neal Kassanoff and The Groundworks Music Project returned to sing favorites with the audience and we added new activities such as KidsAct, Kid in the Kitchen, and Mad Science. Thanks to XTO Energy and Production Specialty for presenting this year's event and to our other wonderful sponsors for making it a success. Also, a big "thank you!" to all the volunteers who put it all together. Be watching for what's in store at next year's festival!

Black Gold Rally Logo

Black Gold Rally

The Black Gold Rally was started in 2003 and is held every year during the 3rd weekend in July. Butch Gilliam, Tub Moncrief, and Vicki Thiebaud began to discuss a benefit for the children at Bynum School. Today the Rally has grown into a consortium of local businesses, bikers, bike clubs, and others who dedicate their time and resources to make this one of the biggest fundraising events for this school.

Proceeds from the motorcycle rally go toward building funds and general operating expenses. There has also been a tuition assistance fund established in memory of Tub Moncrief.

We love our bikers!! For more information contact Vickie Emfinger at 827-3404.
